In the first quarter of 2025, the geolocation games category on the Android platform in Nigeria showcased diverse performance trends among the top five applications. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared based on data from Sensor Tower.

Kage: Search, Earn, Repeat experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 48.3K in mid-January before witnessing a gradual decline to around 149 by the end of March. Despite the drop in downloads, weekly active users remained relatively high at the start, reaching 138K in early February, before decreasing to 45.9K by the quarter's end.

STEPN maintained a modest download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers ranging from 217 to 14 weekly. Active user figures followed a similar pattern, starting at 380 and closing at just over 200 by March.
